FULL FAT FOODS

便 Turns out, eating food that is full-fat foods contain less sugar. It’s also typically less processed as well but tomorrow is the day for eating less processed food.⠀

便 Question: Would you rather eat something with little natural occurring sugar and lots of added sugar? Or would you rather eat something with more natural sugar and less added sugar?⠀

便 Let’s take the yogurt with fruit on the bottom for example.⠀

便 I randomly picked one brand to see what the sugar content is in the 1 serving size container.⠀

諾The Dannon Fruit on the Bottom (strawberry flavor) contains 22g of sugar. 1 tsp of sugar is 4g. So, that’s 5 ½ tsps of sugar in one serving. It also only has 5g of protein.⠀

便 Fage Total Greek Yogurt (just randomly chose a greek yogurt) on the other hand has 8g of sugar (2tsp) and 18g of protein. Add in some fresh fruit to sweeten it up (or maybe another option from day 1 if you must) and boom! Healthy yogurt that won’t leave your blood sugar levels crashing and hungry again in 5 minutes.⠀
